Midway UMC Children's Ministry


	Children’s Ministries

The mission of Midway's Children’s Ministry is to gather children in love and guide them in faith so they will be equipped to go into the world as disciples of Christ. Our vision is to partner with families in reaching every child, encouraging them along their faith journey, and guiding them toward a committed relationship with Jesus Christ.

We continually strive to provide a warm, inviting atmosphere that encourages children to actively participate in the church. We offer a variety of areas for the children to be involved at Midway. These include Sunday School, Children's Church, Children's Choirs, drama, activities and more.


		Children’s Activities Check the weekly bulletin and church calendar for a list of upcoming children's activities.

	Sunday School Sunday school is available for children each week at 10:00 am.

		Children’s Moment Children's Moment takes place during the 8:45 & 11:00 a.m. worship service each Sunday, and is designed for children to have their own special time of worship. The pastor provides a lesson designed for the children.

	Vacation Bible School Vacation Bible School, offered every summer, is a popular place for kids to learn more about the Bible in a super-fun environment with tons of other friends.


	Nursery A staffed nursery is available during the 11:00 am service for children from toddler through 4 years old.

		Children’s Church Children's church is available for 5 - 8 year olds during the 11:00 service every week. We encourage these children to go the service with their parents until after the Children's Moment. At this time, the children will be escorted from the sanctuary and can be picked up are the service.

	Children’s Choir The children's choir provides children age 3 through 5th grade with the opportunity to grow spiritually and musically. All music is chosen with the goal of leading children to a growing faith in Jesus
